Lineup confirmed for the Catalan derby

Barcelona returns from the winter break with a difficult away match.

Barcelona visit local rivals Espanyol for a Catalan derby which is expected to provide a tricky test for the reigning La Liga champions.

Hansi Flick’s men are four points clear of Real Madrid at the top of La Liga as they resume their campaign after the winter break.

But Espanyol are fifth and unbeaten for five years, meaning they are unlikely to be a pushover in a match that Barca traditionally dominate.

The return of goalkeeper Joan Garcia to his former club should add a little extra spice to the atmosphere of an enticing encounter.
