Vivoo’s toilet computer keeps tabs on your hydration

Urine testing company Vivoo went wild at CES 2026 with two new products designed to keep tabs on your health. The first is the Smart Toilet, which clips onto your toilet bowl and uses optical sensors to monitor your hydration levels.

It is an evolution of smart toilet product initially announced in 2023who used a test strip as part of his process. Here, this functionality has been abandoned in favor of simply collecting a small sample in its pocket-shaped cup for contactless testing before being released.

The optical sensors in question are designed to track the specific gravity of your urine to monitor your hydration level. (If the urine is too dense, it’s a sign of dehydration, while if it’s too thin, it’s a sign of overhydration or something more serious, like diabetes or kidney failure.)

You trigger a reading via the smartphone app, and once the test is complete, the data will be sent back to your device. The company claims its battery will last more than 1,000 measurements before needing to recharge it too.

Vivoo does not name (Withings) (Withings) names (Withings) but throws a sharp elbow towards his competitor. It boasts that its product will last 1,000 tests on a single charge, “far exceeding the handful of monthly readings offered by chemical cartridge-based tests.” And its battery, located outside the toilet bowl, means you won’t need to uninstall the sensor to recharge and clean it regularly.

At the same time, the company is announcing Hygenic FlowPad, a menstrual pad infused with microfluidics. These are able to monitor factors such as follicle-stimulating hormone (FSI), a marker of fertility, ovarian health and perimenopause. Once the wearer removes the stamp, they are asked to scan it with their phone’s camera to The Vivoo app, just like many of its other at-home tests. At this time, it’s unclear when FlowPad will be available for purchase, but the company hopes to charge $4-5 per pad.

Vivoo’s smart toilets can be ordered today, with early birds getting the equipment for $99 without the need for an additional subscription, scheduled to ship in March. A second batch on the same offer arrives in June, but latecomers will have to wait until September 2026, when it will go on general sale. At that point, the price will jump to $129, plus an additional $6 per month for the subscription.
