Ukraine and its main allies want to deliver on their security commitments

The “Coalition of the Willing” summit focuses on the security guarantees Ukraine needs in the event of a ceasefire, in order to deter further Russian aggression. According to a draft declaration before the start of negotiations, Washington would commit to “support” a multinational force led by Europe – deployed in Ukraine after any ceasefire – “in the event” of a new attack by Russia.
