Los Angeles protesters burn American flags during anti-Trump demonstrations

Demonstrators Los Angeles were filmed by burning and spitting on American flags while chanting anti-Trump slogans over the weekend.

Images of the incident shows a circle of dozens of people, many carrying masks, surrounding an American flag burning on the ground. Several of the individuals then spit on the flag or sprayed the flammable liquid to continue the fire before a second flag is added to the fire.

A number of demonstrators kept the flags of the South American countries like Mexico while the American flag burned on the ground. They also sang “F-Trump”.

The images of the riots of this weekend also show that the officers with the Sheriff department of Los Angeles move in to disperse the crowd, pulling flash fringes as and when.

The Los Angeles Police Department declared an “illegal assembly” on Sunday evening when the demonstrators do not disperse in the city center.

“The agitators broke out in and through the city center,” wrote the central division of LAPD on X. “Residents, companies and visitors to the city center should be alert and report any criminal activity. Agents respond in several different places to disperse the crowds.”

“An illegal assembly has been declared for downtown Los Angeles,” added the department.

“I officially asked the Trump administration to cancel their illegal troop deployment in the County of Los Angeles and return them to my command,” Newsom wrote on Sunday in parallel to his letter to President Trump. “We had no problem as long as Trump was involved.
