Al-Nassr fans on The two teams faced off in the Saudi Pro League at Al-Awwal Park on Thursday, January 8.
Despite a positive start to the first half, the Knights of Najd found themselves trailing in the 51st minute following a well-placed strike from Julian Quinones. Nahitan Nandez then doubled Al-Qadsiah’s advantage 15 minutes later to make it 2-0. Cristiano Ronaldo halved the deficit after converting his penalty in the 81st minute. However, it was not enough as Al-Nassr succumbed to its second consecutive defeat.
Thanks for the submission!
In an attempt to get back into the match, Jorge Jesus replaced Wesley with Angelo Gabriel in the 74th minute. However, the Brazilian was unable to make much of an impact as he created one chance, had no shots on goal, lost four duels and completed one dribble on three attempts.
Fans were also upset about Wesley’s disagreement with Cristiano Ronaldo, as one fan posted:
“Dude, Wesley needs to be kicked out of this club.”
Another fan tweeted:
“Wesley is the worst guy who doesn’t understand football”

Al-Nassr’s recent poor form continued as they suffered a disappointing 2-1 defeat against Al-Qadsiah. They are now second in the Saudi Professional League ranking with 31 points in 13 matches, four points behind leader Al-Hilal.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored 7.6, creating a chance and scoring a penalty. However, the 40-year-old did not have the best performance in front of goal as he managed just one shot on target in five attempts (20 percent accuracy). He also completed 17 passes on 20 attempts (85 percent accuracy).
Ronaldo has now scored 15 goals and provided three assists in 17 appearances in all competitions. It will aim to help reverse Al-Nassrin their next match against Al-Hilal on January 12.
