Chile! Donald Trump don’t really lean towards Diddy. The hip-hop mogul reportedly wrote a letter to President Trump asking for forgiveness, but during a recent interview, Trump confirmed his stance on the matter.
Chile… things between Donald Trump and Sean “Diddy” Combs would still be frosty. During a two-hour sessiondown with the New York Times On January 7, the former president was asked about several high-profile prisoners, including the 56-year-old music mogul, and whether he would consider pardoning them. While Diddy reportedly wrote Trump a letter seeking a pardon, Trump confirmed that he not plans to grant the request.
Asset even teased the journalists about seeing the letter, saying: “Oh, would you like to see this letter?»– but he never actually produced it. Trump had already revealed in October that the founder of Bad Boy Records, who is appealing his conviction while serving a 50 month sentence in New Jersey on prostitution-related charges, had requested a pardon, but reiterated that he was not considering that possibility. Additionally, Combs’ expected release date is May 8, 2028, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
The fans ran straight towards TSR Instagram Comments Section to weigh, many saying it is the only something they can agree with when it comes to Trump. Others chimed in with humor, pointing out that Johnson & Johnson workers must be punching the air right now. A few took a different approach, suggesting that Diddy should just get on with it and serve out his sentence.
An Instagram user @happy.lala said: “He likes me. Once you talk about me, make sure you never need me again. 😂”
This Instagram user @tiffanimonique__ commented: “Man acts like he’s 50…thug Puffy 🙄”
And, Instagram user @sua_ve joked: “Johnson & Johnson workers also had their fingers crossed“
Meanwhile, Instagram user @Dominiquechinn wrote: “Yeah, he might as well stop submitting it at this point 🥴”
While Instagram user @mr.international813 shared: “Lmao petty Trump, he said I didn’t forget what you said, stay in jail 😂”
Finally, Instagram user @blackkeyshia said: “The only time I agree with this clown 🤡”
And let’s just say the tension isn’t exactly new. Asset told reporters in August than Combs”hostileComments during his first term made a pardon more difficult. While the two knew each other before Trump’s 2015 presidential campaign, the relationship reportedly deteriorated over time. From now on, USA TODAY said he contacted the White House and Combs’ team for more information, but to Diddy it appears the letter alone isn’t enough to change Trump’s mind.
