Good hydration requires perseverance. Tracking your levels can encourage you to drink more water, but it’s not easy. A new toilet sensor, unveiled at CES 2026aims to do the heavy lifting of hydration tracking for you.
Vivoo’s smart toilet sensor works with almost any style of toilet.
We saw it at the show and spoke with founder Miray Tayfun about the first wellness accessory of its kind. For obvious hygiene reasons, looking at and touching the device was as much testing as we could do.

Even though it is called Vivoo Smart Toilet, it is not a complete toilet. Instead, it’s a strap-on sensor that attaches to the base of a smart toilet station and an app that alerts you when it’s time to drink more water. The device hangs inside your toilet. Every time you go, it evaluates urine and provides insight into your hydration level in minutes. Tayfun tells me it works with any style of toilet.
In addition to monitoring your current hydration status, the algorithm tracks trends over time and provides tips for maintaining consistently high hydration levels.
A case is included to hold the device when not in use.
Currently, as part of an early bird discount offer, it costs $99, then an additional $2.99 per month after the first three months. Later, the price will increase to $129, accompanied by a monthly fee of $5.99.
