Napoli manager Antonio Conte has reportedly made a ‘personal move’ in a bid to try and seal the match. transfer of Liverpool winger Federico Chiesa.
The Italy international has struggled to show his best form during his time at Anfield, and it makes sense that there is now increasing talk of his possible return to Serie A.
Chiesa was a key player at former club Juventus and we imagine that he could also strengthen Napoli if he had the chance to play there more often.
The 28-year-old has only started one Premier League game all season for Liverpool, so he will surely be tempted by any offers that come his way in the near future.

According to Italian journalist Emanuele Cammaroto, speaking to Radio Punto Zero, Conte made a personal decision to try to lure Chiesa to Naples.
“Chiesa? Conte made a personal gesture,” Cammaroto said, translated by Sports witness.
“Juventus are very keen on their former player, but Napoli have an excellent relationship with Federico and his father Enrico.”
It will be interesting to see if this definitely leads to a move, but it’s easy to see why this might appeal to Chiesa after his difficult spell at Liverpool.
Liverpool could take the risk of letting Chiesa leave
Even though LFC clearly don’t use Chiesa very often, they’re not exactly in the best position right now, so they might be able to keep him well for added squad depth.
Arne Slot has ruled out all three Mohamed Salah, Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike from Thursday night’s game against Arsenal, so it could be that Chiesa is needed at some point.
Salah is currently at the AFCON, while Isak and Ekitike are injured, so one or two more injuries could cause Liverpool real problems and force them to rely on Chiesa to replace him.
