Daricka Moore arrested after killing 6 people in Mississippi shooting

Daricka Moore24, now faces serious charges after six people, including a 7-year-old girl, were killed in a series of shootings Friday night in several locations in rural Clay County, Mississippi. The details that have emerged so far have left the small community in shock, and the full story is still coming together.

Suspect allegedly killed family and 7-year-old relative

According to at the Clay County Sheriff’s OfficeThe spree began around 6:56 p.m. with a 911 call reporting gunshot victims on Blake Road in Cedar Bluff. Investigators say Daricka Moore first shot and killed three members of her family: her father Glen Moore, 67, her uncle Willie Ed Guines, 55, and her brother Quintin Moore, 33, at a home on David Hill Road. When deputies arrived, the victims were pronounced dead from gunshot wounds to the head. Moore then he stole a truck from his brother and went to another house on Blake Road. In a horrific twist, he allegedly forced his way inside and fatally shot a 7-year-old girl, also related to him, in front of witnesses.

Moore kills two others, including a local pastor

But the night of terror did not end there. Moore allegedly fled in the flight vehicle to a third location on Siloam-Griffin Road. And the police found the truck hidden behind the house and signs of a break-in. Authorities found two other victims, Barry Bradley and Samuel Bradley of Columbus, dead from gunshot wounds inside the home. Additionally, one of the men was a local pastor, but authorities still don’t know why the home was targeted.
