First lady Melanie Trump don’t want Ivanka Trump attending the premiere of her documentary “Melania,” according to reports.
The film is set to be released later this month and will tell its take on the first 20 days leading up to Donald Assetinauguration for a second presidential term.
After its premiere, the documentary will be released on Amazon’s Prime Video, which streaming giant Melania Trump is partnering with through her new production company, “Muse Films.”

Melania’s self-titled documentary is set to premiere on January 29 and is expected to attract a number of A-list guests.
Although names like Jeff Bezos and his wife, Lauren Sanchez, were mentioned as potential attendees, sources ruled out the possibility that Melania’s daughter-in-law Ivanka Trump was one of them.
According to an insider who spoke with Rob Shuter’s #ShutterScoopMelania excluded Ivanka from the event because she wants all the attention for herself.
“Melania wants this night all to herself,” a source revealed. “When the spotlight is this dim, no one shares it.”

Another insider shared a similar remark about Melania’s alleged decision to exclude Ivanka from the premiere.
“It’s Melania, front and center, uninterrupted,” another source said. “She draws a line. Ivanka knows her place.”
Even though Ivanka will probably never respond to this snub, she reportedly feels hurt and has spoken to her friends about the situation.
A source was quoted as saying: “Of course it hurts, but I’m not surprised.”

News of the documentary’s premiere was first announced on Melania’s Page X in November, where she also revealed plans to launch her own production company.
“PRESENTATION: MUSE FILMS. My new production company,” she wrote at the time. “MELANIA, the film, exclusively in theaters worldwide on January 30, 2026.”
The film is directed by Brett Ratner and marks the first project he has directed since several women accused him of sexual misconduct in 2017.
Melania co-produced the documentary alongside Ratner and two other producers. The film is expected to premiere at the Kennedy Center.
After its debut, the project will stream on Amazon Prime as part of Melania’s $40 million deal with the streaming giant.

According to the film’s script, it will recount the first 20 days leading up to her husband’s inauguration for a second presidential term, but told from the First Lady’s point of view.
This will include critical meetings, private conversations and never-before-seen environments, as well as how Melania navigates the complexities of her family’s return to the White House.
In December, a trailer for the film was released and quickly garnered reactions from netizens, showing Melania’s response to Trump’s second term victory.
In the scene, Melania is seen calling her husband, but appears to dismissively tell him that she didn’t watch the election victory announcement when Trump found out about it.

“I didn’t do it. I’ll see it on the news,” the former model said, leading several netizens to joke about the 10-word comment.
One user remarked: “Trump: ‘Did you watch it’ Melania – ‘I didn’t’. These are the memes of memes!”
“I can’t wait to miss it,” another user told the doc.

Before the documentary’s premiere, Trump was approached by reporters to give his views on his wife’s upcoming documentary, according to The Independent.
He described it as “amazing”, but admitted he had yet to see the entire film.
“I’ve seen pieces of it, it’s amazing…she made a book, and the book was a big bestseller, and it’s a movie, and it seems to be capturing a lot of people’s attention,” he remarked.
Trump, who made the statement aboard Air Force One on Sunday, also suggested that many people were eager to attend the premiere, including former Canadian ice hockey player and head coach Wayne Gretzky and his wife, Janet.
