Margera and Knoxville’s beef stemmed from Margera’s firing from “Jackass Forever,” in violation of a drug-related welfare agreement. This then escalated into a public feud and a breakdown in their relationship for some time.
Margera sued Knoxville, Paramount and others for wrongful termination, even though he had violated the contract, but later dropped the suit. He also criticized Knoxville and the “Jackass” team on social media and in interviews, saying he was mistreated, sometimes challenging Knoxville to a fight.
Knoxville pushed back, stating he didn’t want the drama but wanted his co-star’s recovery. Stuntman Steve-O, who is also a part of the franchise, has expressed his desire for all the “brothers to get back together.”

Margera has been behind bars for violating his probation among other charges. He was released from prison in September 2024 and it was revealed that he would enter a short-term program at the Recovery Centers of America for Inpatient Treatment.
He went straight from prison to the recovery center, which allowed his probation case to be closed quickly. The explosion noted that his lawyer revealed that he had stayed on track for a year or more and had passed all of his drug tests at the time.
His alcoholism and drug addiction became very serious as he almost lost the use of his legs due to the drug addiction. As a skateboarder, this greatly affected his career and overall lifestyle.

Margera’s 2024 has been quite eventful as he has had several run-ins with the law. Amid all his challenges, he got together with his ex, Nicole Boyd, for custody of his son Phoenix.
As shared by The explosionthe court ruled in his favor because the ex-couple had never been married under American laws. They had a ceremony in Iceland, but never obtained a marriage license in America.
The bitter custody battle ended in her favor, although Boyd expressed her intention to appeal the court’s decision. Currently, the couple co-parent with Phoenix, who mostly stays with her mother.

For Margera, the third time she got married was a charm. He married his current wife, Dannii Marie, in 2024 in New Mexico.
In his wedding vows, the stunt expert said he couldn’t thank his wife enough, expressing how she helped him quit drinking and inspired him to get back into skateboarding.
Marie also took the extra step of keeping away people who had a negative influence on her husband. The explosion shared in a previous version how she changed her number and made a conscious effort to stay off their phone regularly.
She continues to support him to this day, showing up in the courtroom even without the support of their extended family.
Will Bam Margera ever let go of his troubles with the ‘Jackass’ crew?
