Paul Rudd is used to being the internet’s favorite nice guy, but even he seemed momentarily stunned when a comedian bluntly told him he had a “huge pen” during a bizarre new interview. The “Ant-Man” star’s latest viral moment came last week when he returned to “Take Your Shoes Off w/ Rick Glassman” and revisited his previous appearance, an episode he admitted he didn’t watch because it was “traumatic.” During this first session in July 2025, Rudd, Glassman and a guest Michael Cera fully leaned into a chaotic moment involving “hot” coffee spilled on Rudd, which ultimately led to the “Friends” alum’s “defilement.” [him]” and taking off his pants. And while the stunt had already made the rounds online, Rick Glassman decided to revisit the moment in a way that Paul Rudd clearly didn’t see coming.

Looking back viral imagesGlassman bluntly told the actor, “You have a huge pen. You have it. You have a huge pen.”
Rudd did not immediately respond. Instead, he remained silent, shrugged his shoulders, glanced at the camera and grimaced, appearing caught between embarrassment and disbelief.
Glassman then explained that he had “blurred” footage of Rudd’s “accident” from last year, adding: “If showing the droppings gets you two points, showing the pen raises four. So I figured you got away with it. Big head.”
Rudd, laughing as he tried to keep up with the chaos, asked: “Two steps back and four steps forward?”
When Glassman retorted, “Foreskin forward,” the “Clueless” star paid tribute, calling the joke “well done.”

Still, Rudd seemed genuinely surprised by the whole premise. “I didn’t realize you even saw my pens,” he said, only for Glassman to immediately fire back, “It was hard. It was sweet to miss. It was hard to miss even when it’s soft.”
Rudd thanked the comedian, then turned to another long-standing Hollywood rumor, confirming that he doesn’t know if it’s true that “Liam Neeson has a huge dick that people are talking about.”

From there, the conversation got weirder, with Glassman insisting: “Do you feel like people don’t know how big your pen is?”
The Emmy nominee didn’t exactly brag, instead explaining that he’s “never been naked in a movie” because he’s a “pretty private person” who doesn’t “just want to fidget.” [his] bullshit everywhere” like Harvey Keitel in “The Piano”.
As expected, the wild exchange quickly sparked reactions online, with YouTube users praising Rudd for overcoming the awkward moment. “Paul Rudd has got to be the most playful person on the planet,” one user wrote while another added: “If there’s one thing I’ve learned from the Paul Rudd saga, it’s that Paul Rudd is the kind of man who likes to honor his commitments.”

While this Glassman moment made Rudd go viral for all the wrong reasons, it’s not the only time he finds himself stuck in a long-running period, because in Conan O’BrienIn today’s world, Rudd has been pulling the same prank for over two decades.
For anyone who needs a refresher, Rudd made it a tradition to appear on O’Brien’s shows to promote a project, only to trick the host with the same ridiculous clip from “Mac and Me,” the 1988 sci-fi film. The prank dates back to February 2004, when Rudd teased what O’Brien believed to be an exclusive preview of the “Friends” finale, only for the host to be struck by the now-iconic sequence of Eric from “Mac and Me” tumbling off a cliff in a wheelchair.

Rudd pulled off the stunt again in late 2025 on “Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend” while promoting “Anaconda,” although O’Brien joked that the actor didn’t bring his usual commitment.
“It’s the least thing you’ve ever tried,” O’Brien replied. “Is there a part of you that hates yourself when you do the fake setup now? Rudd didn’t deny it, replying: “Are you kidding me? Absolutely. I hate it when I have it installed. I hate it when I sit and watch.”
Still, O’Brien made it clear that he never wanted the farce to die, even if it did.

Rudd is heading into 2026 with some surprisingly healthy priorities, and they involve some serious deep cleaning. In an interview with PEOPLE Speaking about New Year’s resolutions, the 56-year-old actor revealed he plans to tackle his wardrobe, insisting organization is definitely his thing. “You gotta keep that thing sparkling,” Rudd said, before adding, “I’ll probably clean my closet. By the way, I’m a big fan of cleaning.”
And he wasn’t kidding. The “Ant-Man” star even poked fun at his go-to tool for staying on top of everything, sharing that he’s a devoted user of a “Brother P-Touch label maker,” which he uses to organize his attic.

Rudd explained that his storage system is next level, with transparent shelves and bins so everything is visible at a glance. “I built shelves and all my storage is in clear bins that you can see through,” he said. “All my shit is so organized it’s a bit OCD… If I’m really tackling a cleaning project, I’m very happy.”
Basically, while some people are manifesting their wealth or giving up sugar in 2026, Rudd is living his best life here.
