Chris Noth made no secret of her true feelings when responding to a questionable comment made on social media about Sarah Jessica Parker.
The social media interaction began on Saturday, January 10, when Noth, 71, posted a photo of the Sex and the city actor in the gym.
“F&@k new year – LET’S GO!!!!!” he captioned it Instagram photo.
In the comments section, one user joked, “You mean f*** sjp and her award, right? Lol,” referring to Parker, 60, who recently received the Carol Burnett Award at the 2026 Golden Globes, which she accepted before the show during the Golden Eve special.

A second fan shared her support for Noth amid her strained relationship with Parker.
“You are an amazing actor!! Sarah Jessica Parker only cares about her image and it’s such a shame to be canceled!! don’t let that dim your light,” the fan wrote. “Without Mr. the great Carrie would have been boring 🥱 Peace and light for 2026! »
Another user shared their support for Parker, writing that Noth was “just bitter that I [wrote] him out of the series,” referring to the HBO sequel, And just like that.
Parker and Noth worked together on Sex and the city from 1998 to 2004. Noth played Big, Parker’s recurring love interest. The actor reprized his role in the spin-off And just like Thanot for one episode but it was killed in the first.
In December 2021, Noth was charged with several cases of sexual assault. Noth has denied the allegations, calling them “categorically false.”
“These stories could have been from 30 years or 30 days ago – no still means no – that’s a line I didn’t cross,” Noth said in a statement at the time. “It’s hard not to wonder about when these stories were published. I don’t know for sure why they are surfacing now, but I do know one thing: I did not assault these women.”
After the allegations against Noth were announced, his Sex and the city with his Parker colleagues, Cynthia Nixon And Kristin Davis released a statement alongside the victims.
“We are deeply saddened to hear the allegations against Chris Noth,” the actresses wrote in a joint statement shared on social media. “We support the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences. We know this must be a very difficult thing to do and we commend them for it.”

Noth has not been charged or prosecuted for sexual misconduct. However, he was eventually fired from And just like that due to the controversy which resulted in the death of his on-screen character.
Two years later, Noth responded to sexual assault allegations claiming the encounters were consensual despite being married to Tara Wilson.
“You give yourself the same excuses that a lot of men do; it’s just a little side dance and it’s fun,” he said of his infidelity in a 2023 interview with USA Today. “You’re not hurting anyone. No one will know, you know, and the sex is just nice. And suddenly a lot of people want to sleep with you. It’s like, ‘Well, I won’t get that chance again.'”
