12:19 p.m. Friday Favorites – The Fitnessista

Hello friends! Happy Friday! How are you doing? What are you doing this weekend?

We’re going to see the lights at the Botanical Gardens and we’re also heading to the Princess next week; I can’t wait. This definitely makes me feel like the holidays are here. I’d love to hear what you’re doing!

For now, it’s time for the weekly Friday Faves party. This is where I share some of my favorite finds from the week and around the web. I always love hearing about your favorites, so feel free to shout out something you like in the comments section below.

Fashion, beauty, chance:

We had so many fun events last week. It was a friend’s birthday dinner, I had dinner at a friend’s house (she made amazing salads and we just hung out and talked) and we had a Christmas party for a charity the pilot belongs to. It’s our first year and everyone was so welcoming and lovely.

(I had a huge outfit battle but I ended up wearing this! We don’t have a Nordstrom here in Tucson – very sad face – but I can usually find good things last minute at Dillard’s)

We had our annual Four Christmases wrapping party, our Christmas tree is completely dry and dead (this is the second year this has happened! No water was needed in that time), and I’m almost done with holiday baking. We bring boxes of cookies to our neighbors every year.

Here’s a roundup of this year’s gift guides if you’re still shopping!

Read, watch, listen:

I just finished this audiobook and loved all the tips.

Movies, books and meals from last year.

My mentor, Dr. Cabral, published his latest book, which he has been working on for eight years. It’s everything I could have wanted and I had to stop myself from reading it all in one go. I’ll do a full review soon, but I highly recommend picking up a copy for yourself.

I took the kids to see Zootopia 2 and we all loved it!! It’s as good as the first one.

Fitness, health and good nutrition:

Our health planning course! Thanks so much to all my best internet friends who were able to be there. We had a very productive planning session to define your 2026 based on your health and wellness goals. If you’re already trying to plan your health goals for the new year, stay tuned. I have something new coming in January and I can’t wait to share it with you!
