THE “Sister Wives“The patriarch recently found himself in the hot seat after Christine’s husband, David Woolleyintervened with direct, unsolicited advice about his broken ties with his children.

Kody’s broken bond with his children has been a focal point lately after he was called out by his son, Leon Brown, who accused him of lying about the status of their relationship.

During a Sunday episode of “Sister Wives,” Woolley addressed Kody directly after apologizing to Christine.

“Can I give you a little advice? Just a little bit. Start with your kids,” David told Kody, urging him to focus on the kids still dealing with emotional pain.

David goes on to explain that the plural family dynamic no longer weighs heavily on ex-wives, because they have moved on in their lives. According to him, real healing is still needed elsewhere.

“Your children still need to heal, and that’s what you need [to work on]”David told Kody, according to American magazine.

However, David’s words were not well received. Clearly defensive, Kody flatly rejected the advice, insisting that his apology in that moment was addressed only to Christine and not intended for anyone else.

The patriarch, who claimed he didn’t care what others thought about his apologies to his ex-wives, later added, “I’m already making an effort and reaching out,” referring to his broken relationships with his children.

By doubling down, Kody completely dismissed David’s contribution.

“His experience with his kids and his advice to me just doesn’t interest me at this point because it’s like he’s kind of just the opposite,” Kody said.

Without holding back, he went further, telling David directly: “These deteriorations occurred as a party, not as an individual. Do you understand this?

David, however, stood his ground. He explained that being with Kody’s children allowed him to understand how deeply they were hurting.

Kody was not receptive. He countered, suggesting that David could not fully understand the situation because he did not understand the realities of polygamy. David countered this argument by saying he knew “a lot” about polygamy because his siblings had experienced it.

As tensions rose, Kody defended himself once again, saying his bad experience with his children was unintentional.

He claimed he was open to conversations and willing to resolve issues with them, while urging Christine and David not to interfere in his relationship with his children.

David’s involvement was not accidental. Fans may remember that in a previous episode, Kody invited him to the reunion in Las Vegas, where he planned to apologize to Christine, as a sign of “respect.”

Meanwhile, Kody told Christine, who was the first to leave the plural marriage, “I wanted to apologize with all my heart for the way we broke up, for the way everything happened.”

While accepting the apology, she made it clear that she considered the chapter closed, as reported The explosion. Woolley, who was in attendance, felt uncomfortable when Kody apologized for saying he “didn’t like” Christine or his other ex-wives.

David wasn’t the only one disturbed by Kody’s approach. Christine herself challenged him when he reflected on how much he “loved” her during their marriage.

“Why do you think this is appropriate? Your wife should be there if you want [say] things like that for me”, she replied, while The explosion reported. “Where is your wife? Don’t tell me things like that.”
