Best wishes for WWE star Rusev’s absence

Rusev was not seen on WWE TV in more than a month, but the Bulgarian star should enjoy the end of year holidays as he celebrates his 40th birthday on Christmas Day.

The former champion has been able to prove his worth in WWE since returning earlier this year after a stint in AEW. Although he hasn’t been used effectively since his return, sparks have shown that Rusev could be the Bulgarian brute he once was if given the chance.

It’s unclear why he’s out currently, but he’s someone many fans expect to be a big hitter in the Royal Rumble next month. But it’s unclear if he’ll make his return before the show, since he hasn’t appeared on the main roster since last month.

Will Rusev’s wife Lana make a return to WWE?

There have been rumors over the past few months, since Rusev’s return, that Lana might be looking to follow her husband to WWE.

The couple has had their ups and downs over the past few years, but despite this, they have remained together and Lana has commented on several occasions that she wants to return.

It will be interesting to see if WWE is willing to allow the couple to reunite as there are currently several couples in WWE who could face them.

Zelina Vega and Aleister Black are currently dominating SmackDown, while Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins could reunite in the future after both being part of The Vision earlier in the year.

Lana managed to make her husband a star when the duo debuted in NXT, and she could do it again if given the chance.
