4 WWE Superstars Who Will Face in 2026

As an eventful year draws to a close, the WWE Universe is already looking forward to 2026.

WWE Superstars are often known for switching between heel and babyface personas in terms of storylines. And there are some villainous characters in today’s promotion that are expected to make an appearance in the coming year.

In this article, we will look at four of these WWE Superstars:

#4. Dominik Mysterio, WWE Intercontinental Champion

Dominique Mystério turned heel in shocking fashion at WWE Clash at the Castle on September 3, 2022, attacking his father, Rey Mysterio, and Edge after their tag team match. He then joined The Judgment Day alongside Rhea Ripley, completing his major character change from babyface to evil “Dirty Dom”.

Due to the ongoing tension between Dominik and Finn Balor, which mainly stems from Balor’s jealousy of Mysterio’s success this year, fans are now suggesting that young Mysterio should change his face in 2026 and leave The Judgment Day to reunite with his father.

Interestingly, the creative team could then give Balor a shot at the Intercontinental Championship against Dominik Mysterio after a notable feud.

#3. & #2. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods

The new day officially became heel in late 2024, notably on the December 2 episode of RAW, during the group’s 10th anniversary celebration. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods chastised a returning Big E for his long-term injury, turning their backs on him and embracing their dark sides.

This marked a significant change for the popular stable, transforming them from fan favorites to despised villainous characters. However, it seems The New Day embracing its dark side didn’t sit well with fans. Many believe the duo is better off as babyfaces, especially considering the various setbacks they suffered after turning heel.

Therefore, the wrestling community seems to be suggesting that the creative team should consider having Kingston and Woods return to their babyface personas in the coming year.

#1. Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins arguably established himself as one of the Stamford-based promotion’s top heels when he aligned himself with Paul Heyman at WrestleMania 41 and formed The Vision. However, he was later betrayed by his stablemates, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, on WWE RAW after Crown Jewel: Perth.

Given this incident, it is unlikely that The Visionary will reunite with Paul Heyman and his men upon his potential return from surgery. Therefore, fans expect to see Rollins turn around when he finally returns to the ring in 2026.
