Teresa and Melissa aren’t the only “Real Housewives” stars having an unexpected Christmas this year, as Atlanta’s Kandi Burruss shared during an Amazon Livestream that she’ll be spending the holiday with her soon-to-be ex-husband, Todd Tucker.
The update came a month after the Xscape singer revealed they were splitting after 11 years of marriage. “Even though we have all this mess right now, we’re still going to do this together for our kids,” she said. said. “So we’re spending Christmas in New York.”

Burruss, for his part, filed motions asking the court to review footage from the couple’s wedding special, “Kandi’s Wedding,” during which Tucker admitted to signing the legally binding contract freely and willingly.

Part of the reason Burruss spent the Christmas vacation with Tucker was his continuing role in the Broadway musical “& Juliet.” She started her campaign in December 2025 and will continue until March 2026. In another report from The explosionBurruss called the timing of his appearance in the Tony-nominated musical “f-cking perfect,” sharing that being under the bright lights allowed him to focus on the present rather than the drama of his personal life.
The musical is powered by original hits from famed music producer Max Martin and features classics from Ariana Grande, NSYNC, Kelly Clarkson and even Pink! One of the Pink songs that Burruss performs on the show contains moving lyrics that remind listeners that they are perfect just the way they are.

According to Burruss, singing those lyrics every night did something for her that she didn’t realize she needed. “I’m always in my head, doubting myself – although I suppose others might think I never have doubts. But people only see the bright side of the room, don’t they?” she said. “You don’t see the other side where it’s kind of boring. It’s kind of like, ‘Oh my God, I don’t know if this is what I’m supposed to do?’ So I really hear those words now.”
