Jennifer Lopez’s sizzling mirror selfie goes viral for the wrong reason

Jennifer Lopez broke the internet with her steamy Christmas selfie, but left fans talking about what appeared to be a filter that made her iPhone look curvy.

The “Jenny From The Block” singer also shared a photo of herself in matching pajamas with her family on Christmas Eve.

Jennifer Lopez recently made headlines when she reunited with her ex-husband for a holiday shopping trip. Ben Affleck and his son Samuel.

Lopez took to social media to share a steamy Christmas snap in which she wore a tight red dress held up by two straps.

The dress was adorned with crystals and featured a sweetheart neckline that exposed her upper bust.

She wore her hair in a bun and left two loose strands hanging over her face, and wore minimal jewelry, including earrings and a ring on her index finger.

“Merry Christmas everyone!” Lopez subtitle the photo on X.

Although she looked stunning in the photo, the snap quickly went viral due to how weird her iPhone looked in the mirror selfie.

Minutes after the photo hit X, fans took to the comments to compliment the multi-hyphenate singer and wish her a Merry Christmas.

“You’re really getting more and more stunning!” one fan wrote, while another said: “YOU ARE AMAZING JENN.”

“Just Jenny from the neighborhood. Merry Christmas. You’re awesome!” someone else said.

However, eagle-eyed fans spotted the odd curve on her phone, leading many to believe the photo had been heavily photoshopped.

“What model of iPhone is this? Look at the banana curve,” one X user wrote sarcastically, while another noted, “Is that an iPhone 17 curve? Lol, why is it curved?”

One reviewer said: “The way your phone folds reveals airbrush, FaceTune, Photoshop, etc. This could be intentional engagement bait, or perhaps Jenny from the Block is approaching the event horizon of a supermassive black hole at a non-relativistic speed.

“Easy with filters and edits, the iPhone literally curved like a banana,” said another user.

“No hate, but your iPhone is crooked which means you used a filter you don’t really need. Getting old is cool when you don’t care who thinks getting old isn’t cool. Merry Christmas,” one person wrote.

One fan warned the singer, saying: “I love you, girl. But you need to check for any unintentional distortion in every photo you edit, before posting it.”

On Christmas Eve, Lopez took to Instagram to share a sweet photo of herself in matching pajamas with members of her family, including her sister Lynda and son Emme, whom she shares with Marc Anthony.

In one photo, she posed near her enormous Christmas tree, sitting on the floor. Another photo showed everyone gathering around the table to spend time with family.

“It was night…”, said the singer’s caption. Lopez is known for celebrating Christmas with her large family and kept the tradition last year when she shared a video of her family members decorating the Christmas tree.

“Happy Christmas Eve,” she wrote at the time, flashing a big smile..

It comes just days after Lopez joined ex-husband Ben Affleck for a Christmas shopping trip alongside son Samuel.

According to the Daily mail, The trio stopped at clothing brands Sezane and Doen before heading to the farmers’ market, where they picked up something to eat.

Although it apparently wasn’t planned, they managed to coordinate their outfits as Lopez wore a brown polka dot A-line dress with a halter neckline and paired it with a white knit sweater that she wore over her shoulders.

She also wore dark brown lipstick and completed the look with chocolate brown cowboy boots and a small leather handbag.
