Miles Teller had his wife thoughtfully Keleigh Teller‘s wedding dress was remade after the original dress was lost in the devastating Los Angeles fires earlier this year.
“Is this my wedding dress?” Keleigh, 33, asked Miles, 38, after open a big red box containing the garment bag in a TikTok video shared on Friday, December 26, heartbreaking at Miles’ surprise gift. “Oh, my God. Oh, my God.”
Miles and Keleigh, who I have been married since 2019lost their homes in the January wildfires that devastated thousands of acres, homes and businesses in Los Angeles and killed hundreds of people. Although the couple was able to evacuate the city in time, they did not get all of their belongings back.
“To everyone who reached out to me I can’t thank you enough, your kind heart meant the world, I will never forget them,” Keleigh wrote via Instagram on January 10. “The community came out stronger than I could have imagined, Pacific Palisades, I love you beyond measure, you are a little piece of heaven. [and] we will come back stronger than ever.
She continued: “I I wish I could have caught my wedding dressI wish I had done a lot of things differently but it doesn’t matter, stay safe, get out 💔💔. There are no words. THANK YOU to the first responders who are fighting.
Miles later revealed that he and Keleigh were able to “recover very few” memories during their evacuation.
“[My wife and I] I never thought [the fire] was going to come to where we were, it’s very residential,” said the Eternity the star said on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in February. “We weren’t surrounded by any bushes or anything.”
He continued: “Fire is scary. I grew up on the East Coast and hurricanes, most of the time, in Florida, usually most of the time, scare you for about a week. You’ve been warned. But the fire, man, it moved fast.”

Miles, who was able to save his late grandfather’s watch, and Keleigh also received support and assistance from their loved ones.
“Many people contacted us, either just to let us know they were there emotionally or to offer us their place,” Miles says AND! News that same month. “I’m a Deadhead, and so a lot of people have reached out to Keleigh saying, ‘I want to send Miles a Grateful Dead shirt.’ Little things mean a lot, so it’s very heartwarming.
Miles choked up reliving the ordeal then accommodation Saturday evening live last month.
“SNL has always been one of the most consistent parts of my life. I have lived in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Delaware, [New] Jersey and Florida before I was 12,” Miles said in his opening monologue. “I’m so happy to be here with all of you. A lot has happened since I last hosted [in 2022]. A few months ago, my wife and I lost our home in the Palisades fire.
He concluded, “Don’t worry. Seriously, don’t worry. We’re doing great. This experience has made me incredibly grateful to have so many places I can call home.”
