Daily report of the CAN: the Super Eagles beat Tunisia 3-2, the Big Cats of Senegal and the DRC remain tied




It was another busy day of the AFCON, with four matches played across Morocco, as teams from Groups C and D looked to secure their place in the knockout stages of the competition. In Group D, Benin won its first ever match at a CAN, beating Botswana 1-0. The battle of the wild animals ended in a stalemate as the Lions of Teranga drew against the Leopards of DR Congo. In Group C, Uganda and Tanzania remained tied, while the Super Eagles and Carthage Eagles battled it out for the top spot. Nigeria absolutely dominated the first half, but Tunisia fought back to make it 3-2 at the final whistle.
