Wacom’s Cintiq line Pen screens give designers and illustrators the possibility of using a stylus directly on a screen in various creative applications. Today, the company has announced its last entries with The Cintiq 16, Cintiq 24 and Cintiq 24 Touch. The three have a thinner design than the previous models, including thinner glasses around the outside. The company has also lowered the weight, which even makes the largest and more portable options.
The new CINTIQ displays operate with the Pro Pen 3 where the previous generation offered the Pro Pen 2.. The third generation version has a response time of 12 ms, 8,192 pressure levels, three programmable buttons, supports up to 60 degrees and can be used with various handles. You can also exchange pen feathers for a different sensation or add balance weights if necessary. Inside, “an advanced IC chip from Pro Pen 2” recreates the precise and natural sensation of drawing on paper. He also does not have a battery, so it is one thing less than you have to worry about the load.
The display panels of each model offer a resolution of 2.5K (2560 x 1600 on the 16-inch refresh rate, 2560 x 1440 on the refresh rate of 23.8 inch) and 60 Hz. Wacom praises its “real color to life” and the anti-Glary glass is used both for Nix reflections and provides an adequate friction for the pro Pen 3. “An experience of natural paper drawing” when combined with the powerful stylus of society.
You can expect USB-C, HDMI and USB-A ports at the rear, although the Cintiq 16 connects to a computer with a single USB-C cable (display and supply delivery signal). The Cintiq 16 is also delivered with integrated foldable legs which allow the pen screen to sit at an angle of 20 degrees. The Cintiq 24 and Cintiq 24 Touch are both deliverable with an adjustable support which offers more positions (you can buy this stand separately for the Cintiq 16).
According to my experience, Wacom’s displays are their best When tactile gestures are involved. As its name suggests, these are only available on the Cintiq 24 in this trio. This Added feature Allows you to zoom, do the panoramic, turn and more with your fingers, which makes your workflow more efficient. And on the Cintiq 24 Touch, you can use up to 10 fingers simultaneously for these tasks.
The new CINTIQ range will be available later this summer. THE Cintiq 16 is $ 699.95THE Cintiq 24 is $ 1,299.95 and the Cintiq 24 Touch costs $ 1,499.95.
