Lance Kluser praises the crocodile shape

Durban Super Giants coach Lance Klusener showed confidence You are the cats. He said Maphaka’s form ahead of the Betway SA20 match against Joburg Super Kings is a good sign.

Klusener had injury issues after a hamstring strain in October. However, he completed his rehabilitation in time to make his debut this season against MI Cape Town.

Klusener said: “I thought Kwena bowled very well at the end. I think it was two overs for 16 runs under pressure, well, two of those last three overs.”

“From his point of view, coming back from injury, I think he can take a lot of confidence from those last two overs as well. So that was extremely satisfying for me.”

“In T20 cricket, a lot of games end in a last one or two. So that was pretty normal for us. But for him to come through that game and come through that game as well as he did, I thought that was a big bonus for us.”

The Durban Super Giants have made a good start to the season, picking up six points from two matches against MI Cape Town. Klusener believes the team is coming together well and gaining confidence. “Yes, I’m quite satisfied. I think six points out of a possible eight in two games is a good result for us,” he said.

“So, we’re pretty happy. Of course, I think we hit and read the game well in the first game. So a lot of little things we can work on from this first game, but like I said, six points out of a possible eight is a good result for us.”
