Cleveland Browns Head coach Kevin Stefanski’s future isn’t entirely clear ahead of Sunday’s matchup against Cincinnati Bengals. The Browns beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 17 to force a winner-take-all matchup between Pittsburgh and the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday night.
Meanwhile, they will visit Joe Burrow and Co. to close out the regular season. Stefanski made it clear he was focused on winning this weekend. On Wednesday, he refused to answer questions about his job security.
Thanks for the submission!
“No. The most important thing is what’s in front of us,” Stefanski said. “Sunday in Cincinnati, that’s all we care about.”

Stefanski has been with the Browns since 2020. He posted a 44-56 record and two playoff appearances during his six-year tenure in Cleveland. After a 3-14 2024 season, the Browns could finish 2025 with two more wins. They had a plethora of picks in the 2025 NFL Draft, but the jury is still out on their quarterback selection.
Shedeur Sanders will start against the Bengals after replacing Dillon Gabriel as the starter in Week 12. Once the game is over, the Browns will have a lot of questions to answer to bounce back in 2026.
Amid multiple rumors suggesting that Kevin Stefanski had hidden intentions against Shedeur Sandersthe coach was full of praise for the rookie quarterback. Before Sunday’s game, Stefanski noted one thing that impressed him about Sanders: his desire to improve.
“The exciting thing about Shedeur and a lot of the younger players is the improvement,” Stefanski said. “Asking them to improve this technique or this thing that has to do with the game, and these guys being conscientious enough to do the work. That’s what’s exciting about young players: seeing constant improvement.
In seven games, Sanders went 109 of 190 for 1,289 yards and seven touchdowns with 10 interceptions. Sanders threw the ball 18 times for 143 yards and a touchdown. It’s unclear if the Browns will return him in 2026, but he showed promise in his first season.
