Liverpool starting XI against Leeds United

Defender Joe Gomez is out for Liverpool, but full-back Conor Bradley starts, having joined striker Cody Gakpo – initially on reserve here – returning from injury on the bench in the 2-1 home win over Wolves on Saturday.

Full-back Andy Robertson is back and Dominik Szoboszlai is back from suspension, but fellow midfielder Wataru Endo is injured and striker Alexander Isak has a broken leg.

Federico Chiesa, Milos Kerkez and Alexis Mac Allister come on the bench. Defender Giovanni Leoni is suffering from a long-term knee injury and striker Mohamed Salah is playing in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations with Egypt.
