CHARLY launches the Heritage 2025 collection celebrating Mexican football and culture

Mexican brand CHARLY has unveiled its Heritage 2025 collection, a stylish homage to the country’s rich football history and wider cultural roots.

The capsule features four football-style jerseys paired with matching caps, each brimming with symbolism.

The first jersey arrives in green with red and white trim, an unmistakable nod to the Mexican flag and national team kits. A sleek black and gold design and white and wine red jersey are reminiscent of Mexico’s classic away kits, while the warm wine and gold shirt recalls the days before. Sorting moved to eco-friendly home kits in the late 1950s.

All four feature a prominent Quetzalcoatl, the feathered serpent deity of Aztec mythology, and a subtle Aztec-style motif running across the front three stripes – a nod to Mexico’s ancient history.

To complete the design, “MEXICO” is printed in bold on the back, driving home the message of cultural pride.

CHARLY’s Director of Sports Marketing, Mauricio Rodríguez Vallejo, explained: “We wanted to share the rich culture of Mexico beyond stereotypical depictions in the hope that it will resonate with Mexicans, Mexican Americans and those deeply ingrained in soccer culture.”

Available now at select U.S. retailers including Dick’s Sporting Goods, the Heritage Collection certainly fulfills that mission.
