Newcastle United are reportedly interested in Brazilian defender Wesley Franca from AS Roma.
According to a report from AS Roma liveThe 22-year-old has attracted the attention of the Premier League club and Newcastle have sent scouts to monitor him in action. The Italian club signed the Brazilian defender this summer for a fee of around 25 million euros, and his valuation has doubled. Newcastle will have to pay 50 million euros if they want to sign the 22-year-old winger.
Wesley is capable of operating on both flanks and he could prove to be an excellent charge in the long run. It will be interesting to see if Newcastle are willing to break the bank for him.
