Maduro in New York detention center as Trump says US will ‘run’ Venezuela

Venezuela’s deposed president Nicolas Maduro is now being held at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center, according to US media reports. He was transferred there after being indicted in New York on drug and weapons charges, which he denies. He and his wife are expected to be brought before a judge at a later date.
