Raven-Symoné and his wife, Miranda Pearman-Madayhas spent much of 2025 in the headlines, and now she’s trying to clear up some of the suggestions surrounding her marriage to the Disney legend.
In addition to pushing back from fans after sharing intimate details about the types of sex toys she lets her wife use on her, Raven-Symoné and Maday also received pushback after speaking out about their finances.

According to a previous report from The explosionSymoné and Maday sparked discussion on social media when they made interesting comments about their finances on their shared podcast, “Tea Time with Raven and Miranda.”
In the episode, Symone reflected on his marriage to Maday while speaking with guest Robby Hoffman. During the conversation, the “That’s So Raven” actress said one of the reasons she was excited about marriage was the prospect of joining a “rich” family.
When Hoffman fired back, insisting that Symoné herself was rich, Maday interrupted: “But not as rich as me.” But that’s not all she wrote. Maday continued, “I didn’t marry Raven for money. I’m richer.”

Social media users were incensed by Maday’s comments, with many suggesting the podcast host was trying to embarrass the “Raven’s Home” singer.
“This is something really ridiculous about Raven’s wife,” someone wrote, while another said: “Is she richer or [are] his PARENTS richer? Because I have no idea who Raven is [wife] East.”
Another user wrote: “The emasculation of Raven Symoné,” and a fourth shared: “This is beyond weird. It’s always been weird with Blondie.”

While Maday and Symoné shrugged off the criticism, Maday finally addressed the backlash during an episode of Nick Cannon and Courtney Bee’s “We Playin’ Spades” podcast.
“Do you know the mud flaps on trucks?” » asked Maday. “My family invented them.” As she continued, Maday explained that her “big, big things” founded the company; however, his father’s side of the family was left out of the business deal. Instead, Maday’s father started his own business and, according to her, “he did very well.”

Maday further stated that she discussed her finances in August 2025 to dispel rumors that she was only with Symoné because of his wealth and fame. “The reality is, financially, I was very lucky to grow up in a family that had money. I haven’t wanted for anything in my life and that’s a privilege,” she said.
“I share this information simply to explain why the meeting with Raven has nothing to do with what was at the bank,” she added before recognizing that Symoné “is richer than me alone… because she has been working for 40 years”.

Weeks after their conversation about money broke the internet, Symoné was once again the topic of conversation after sharing intimate details about her sexual escapades while speaking with TS Madison.
In the clip, trans activist and podcast host Madison asked if she and Maday used a “strap” in bed. After admitting that she and Maday used such toys, Symoné revealed some of the bizarre rules she put in place for the device. “Look, but it can’t be a color. It can’t be pink,” she said. saidadding that it “must be a complexion.”
Before wrapping up 2025, Symoné posted a carousel of images on Instagram, revealing that she had celebrated her 40th birthday with friends and loved ones.
In addition to posing with his wife, Symoné caused a sensation on social networks after share another photo with two of his “That’s So Raven” co-stars, Rondell Sheridan and Kyle Massey.
In the photo’s caption, Symoné thanked those who showed up to support her latest milestone. “Seeing everyone’s faces and reading everyone’s text messages really touched my heart and soul,” she wrote.
In addition to happy birthday messages and well wishes, fans left comments under Symoné’s photo, pointing out how nostalgic it was to see the Disney cast together.
