Redd said he felt hurt that people on the show were “talking crap” about him while he was battling an addiction to pills, instead of supporting him.
“I would hear them because, you know, some of that Adderall shit got you super hearing and shit,” he said. “But [they] That wouldn’t help me, you know. “I felt bad from the beginning. It’s always been a double-edged emotional sword for me, because I really love everything that Kenan and I have done, bro,” said Redd, who also starred in Thompson’s NBC sitcom, Kenanadded. “I really enjoyed every job we did, I think we were a great team and I hate doing something to someone that I know could hurt them.”
