Fanatics and OBB Media announced a joint venture Tuesday set to become the world’s leading gaming studio. sports entertainment.
Fanatics Studios is a new entertainment studio built to independently create, finance, produce and distribute best-in-class content at the intersection of sport and culture.
Fanatics Studio is poised to combine industry-leading capabilities, resources and relationships, uniting Fanatics’ unmatched reach across all sports with a proven track record of award-winning, culturally impactful storytelling that has generated billions of views.

Over the next year, Fanatics Studios will release behind-the-scenes looks at Tom Brady’s attempt to play flag football in the Olympics, produce a documentary series for the World Baseball Classic, produce the ESPYs and release other WWE content.
“I am incredibly excited to launch Fanatics Studios and add a significant content and media business to our growing sports platform that also supports all of our existing businesses,” Michael Rubin, CEO of Fanatics, said in a statement. “We couldn’t have asked for a better partner in Michael Ratner and the team at OBB, and together we will continue to pursue our mission to relentlessly improve the fan experience by creating content that brings fans closer than ever to the teams, players, sports, cultural moments and events they love in a way that has never been done before.”
