Arne Slot’s Liverpool table €70m bid to sign Real Madrid midfield sensation Eduardo Camavinga.
Liverpool, the reigning champions, had a far from ideal first half of the season. As they have started to turn around after a poor start and are currently fourth in the points table, Arne Slot has identified a few areas that need to be strengthened.
Liverpool seek Camavinga as midfield reinforcement
As they look to add more firepower to their attack amid uncertainty around the future of Mohamed Salah and the injured Alexander Isak, the Reds are also keen to add more quality to their midfield. Real Madrid’s Eduardo Camavinga is a top target for them and, according to a report from Transfersthe Merseyside club have already submitted a €70 million bid for the France international.
Liverpool are looking for a versatile midfielder who can compete with Ryan Gravenberch for a place in the XI and can also fill other positions. The Reds have a long-standing interest in Camavinga, who is a ‘extraordinary” player according to former Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti.

The Reds have been monitoring the 23-year-old for some time. He has all the qualities to succeed in England’s top flight, and his ability to play as a central midfielder, in an attacking role, as well as as a full-back, makes him a dream signing for Liverpool.
They have already filed a Offer of 70 million euros to complete a deal with Real Madrid. But they are unlikely to succeed as Los Blancos have no plans to sell the France international, who is an integral part of their long-term plans.
