The Sam Curran-led side would want their players to highlight their A game against MI Emirates, a team who have all their bases covered, be it in the batting and bowling departments, and would go after them hard in a bid to win the contest.

To begin with, it will be up to the opening pair of Fakhar Zaman and Andries Gous, who was the player of the match in the previous match, to get the team off to a good start.
The team management is also hoping that both the batters will score runs individually as well, to put pressure on the MI Emirates bowling attack.

Curran will be assisted by Davud Payne and Khuzaima Tanveer, both of whom will also look to provide a winning spell of fast bowling for their team and make things easier for the spinners.
The Desert Vipers’ spin bowling department will be taken care of by Usman Tariq, who fought well with Kieron Pollard in the last match, and will be starting again in the title clash, and Dan Lawrence.
All that being said, Desert Vipers will need to put in a disciplined bowling effort to restrict a powerful batting group that MI Emirates have at their disposal.
